The Soos Creek Trail is a beautiful walk through the swamp lands of the creek. The trail encompasses a paved path (shared with walkers, joggers, horses, bicycles, skateboards, and inline skates) that runs 11.5 miles and 775 acres with multiple trail heads. You can start at a trail head at Gary Grant Park in Kent or Lake Meridian Park in Covington with other trail heads in between. There is a rookery in along the way that is home to many blue heron and their nests where eagles steel the young! Mallard ducks can be seen as well as other native birds.
