Signs of Spring

Spring is right around the corner! Here in the Pacific Northwest you will know it is spring when the forsythia blooms. However, it's late January and I have already seen an iris in bloom! Usually, the crocus blooms before the iris however this iris couldn't wait!

Now I am always ready for a new season! Spring brings rain and florals, summer sun, fall "las tormentas," or storms as we call them, and winter gray skies. My favorite season is fall when we return to school, the weather requires us to dress in layers, the leaves change colors and the weather gets exciting!
