Green Energy?

Green energy is "electricity produced from solar, wind, geothermal, biogas, eligible biomass, and low-impact small hydroelectric sources." (Green Power Partnership)
Well, we are seeing a green energy fiasco in Texas this winter. Power outages due to wind turbines freezing in place make indoor temperatures in the 40s! Gracious Scott! I'd freeze my tooshie! No laughing matter, people in the cold could die of serious mistakes such as heating the apartment with the kitchen stove or using a propane heater indoors. But what is at the heart of the matter? The dependence on green energy! The wind turbines can't operate in the cold and your solar panels may get covered up by snow! It's true, we are not ready for green energy totality. I believe the answer is all in moderation. Let the people choose. And maybe some small minor power improvements around the house (tax credit?) could be an option.
