Batteries need to be recycled when they have served their time or have expired! Lithium ion batteries can explode as you probably have heard! Sometimes recycling is a problem when the battery is not labeled properly.

Make sure you store and recycle your batteries properly!

I searched "where do I recycle household batteries" and below is what came up:

Free drop-off battery recycling sites

  • Bainbridge Island Transfer Station.

  • Hansville, Silverdale, Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facilities.

  • Kitsap County Houehold Hazardous Waste Facility - Bremerton.

  • Navy City Metals - Bremerton.

  • Kitsap County Olympic View Transfer Station - Bremerton.

(Need money? Sometimes they will even pay you!)
